Les affaires reprennent.
Les 5 et 6 mars se tient à Liège le colloque "Inventer en revue. Expérimentations esthétiques et éditoriales dans les revues de poésie francophone, 1970-2000" organisé par Stéphane Cunescu et Félix Katikakis .
J'y parlerai de la revue DOC(K)S dans une communication intitulée "Doc(k)sumenter la performance", en très, très bonne compagnie.

Half a dozen female Tasmanian performance poets cluster around a table. Fourth from left is Yvonne who organises performance poetry events.

I am not a poet of any kind and when Yvonne told me that such a thing existed I thought it was a bit dodgy. It was after she invited me to an event that I changed my mind.

There is talent out there, male and female, young and old. That took me by surprise.

As a poet I’ve recently got the feeling that a big part of doing this is collecting new stages to perform on and new potential audiences.
So thanks to everyone who hung around for my set at SHMUFEST, thanks to every wonderful performer I’m lucky enough to share a stage with and thanks to everyone who organises and provides places to perform.

An amazing night at the Loud Poets Northern Heat Poetry Slam. Made it through to the second round, which is better than last year, and got some amazing feedback. Also got to enjoy an amazing array of other hugely talented performers. Great stuff.
