Interesting email from my Internet provider this morning (multiple customers appear to also have received the same email). Apparently, my password 'no longer meets our security guidelines' ??? How would Telus know the composition of my password unless they are storing my password in clear text? One of two things are true - either they are storing the password in clear text (OMG) or they've had a security breach (OMG). #security #telus #ransomware #incident #passwordssuck
