Detail and rust work, hull is almost ready, no fancy technics – paint and a brush only.

Base color is done. I decided to make my own paint mix instead of using ready-to-go paint. More or less it’s Tamiya XF-58 (Olive green) 10 parts; XF-2 (Flat white) 2 parts and 2 parts of XF-3 (Flat yellow). Modulated with drops of mix XF-2 and XF-3. Diluted with levelling thinner from Mr. Color (30 paint to 70)
Ammo’s T-54B is almost ready, waiting for cleanup and I’ll start the paint job. I’ve added a few minor changes – like “battle” damages, metal railings and others.
GAZ Tiger-M from RPG causes me a lot of problems, I’ve lost my patience, goes back to the drawer, . That’s why I returned to the long-awaited T-54B by Mig Jimenez.
The model looks great, a lot of detail, yet not enough for me. Fitting of the fuel system is in progress.
Gaz’s interior is ready. I still don’t know what the camo cloth inside is for, but I recreated it as best I could 🙂
Working on the interior, of course no one will see it anyway 🙂
I have no idea what’s behind the cloth camo inside the vehicle (it’s present in all the reference photos I have seen), but I decided to recreate it. Now I’m going to deal with the body from inside.
I am starting a new project.
This time instead of tracks there will be wheels 🤩
I can already see that putty will accompany me all the time during the assembly process 🤨
Detail painting and light chipping underway. The base color came out so smooth that the decals were placed on without using a gloss varnish. I just used a softener from VMS, the only one I know which not react with Tamiya paints (only when used with care).

I definitely spend too much time on things that won’t be seen anyway.
