Two more old access covers from the east end of Glasgow, both from the Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Company. The ATM one is from between 1911 and 1932. The ATE one is from between 1932 and 1961, and reflects a change in name to the Automatic Telephone and Electric Company

Access cover with the distinctive Art Nouveau logo of the Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Company on Bath Street in Glasgow.

This company was formed in 1911 and changed its name to the Automatic Electric Company in 1932, making this cover between 91 and 112 years old.

It's only the second such cover I've come across on the streets of Glasgow (but I'm sure there must be more out there!).
