Local banknote from Binéfar, near the Aragón front in the Spanish Civil War - issued in 1937 by a Workers Collective there, under the CNT (National Workers Confederation) and the FAI, the Anarchist Federation of Spain). They introduced new units of currency - 1 Unidad (Unity) consisted of 100 Grados (Degrees). The red and black flag of the Anarchists is still a vital symbol for antifascists everywhere!
