Risultati UFC Fight Night 252: Cejudo vs. Song

L’evento ha segnato la quarta visita della promotion a Seattle e la prima dal luglio 2013, quando si tenne UFC on Fox: Johnson vs. Moraga.

L’incontro principale ha visto affrontarsi l’ex campione dei pesi mosca e gallo UFC (nonché medaglia d’oro olimpica di lotta libera nel 2008) Henry Cejudo e il contender cinese Song Yadong.

Un match nei pesi gallo femminili tra Ketlen Vieira e Macy Chiasson era inizialmente previsto per l’evento, ma è stato cancellato a causa di un infortunio subito da Chiasson. I due atleti erano già stati accoppiati per UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs. Walker 2 nel gennaio 2024, ma in quell’occasione Vieira si era ritirata per infortunio.

Nei pesi medi, Mansur Abdul-Malik avrebbe dovuto affrontare Antonio Trócoli, ma quest’ultimo si è ritirato per motivi sconosciuti ed è stato sostituito da Nick Klein.

All proceeds from this compilation will support Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah's Children's fund. Dr. Ghassan had volunteered extensively in #Gaza throughout multiple crises. During this genocide, he worked in both Al-Ahli and Shifa hospitals. He was a survivor of the Ahli Hospital bombing which killed hundreds. His press conference outside of the hospital, surrounded by dead bodies, will be etched in our memories forever. He has now established a Children’s Fund which aims to treat injured children, rebuild the destroyed medical infrastructure, and establish a sponsorship program for 20,000+ orphans from the conflict.
