Dear #networkmeasurements people and everyone interested in understanding the move towards "Internet sovereignty". There's an event for you upcoming on May 21st!

I have put together a workshop with a few brilliant young minds from @citizenlab @cis_cnrs, GEODE, University of Bonn as well as one of the @ooni lead researchers

We will dive into 6 case studies of using various network measurement approaches and tools to understand how states are trying to build their sovereign networks. We will discuss methodological challenges that interdisciplinary researchers face today when trying to grasp this trend toward sovereignization.

The second part of the day will be built around hands-on sessions where we will learn how to use tools to analyze Internet traffic data. We will practice applying these tools to real case-studies, map our findings and a roadmap for future research.
