Sunday morning #mugrollcall mine comes with a quick story. Last week in Kauai I frequently saw a wooden roadside sign for pottery. Finally we stop in. Super cool potter dude and gal doing heady AF ceramics. The technique is building a large block of clay with cylindrical shaped clay with designs and pressed together. Then an 1/8” “slab” cut off the top. Upon firing, the colors come alive and melt into design. This one was turtle themed. Super cool.
