Time to walk up a big mountain

here is a nicer pic from below the cloud, looking down at Tawonga, where I stayed last night.
Made it to the summit at 12:35, two minutes before the cloud rolled in to ruin the view.
This morning, I crossed the ACT/NSW border on Mountain Creek Road. I now find myself at Mountain Creek Motel on a different Mountain Creek Road. Tomorrow I will drive to Mountain Creek campground then will walk up Staircase Spur to the top of Mt Bogong, then back down again, hopefully before the rain comes.
Mountain adventure update: Monday is looking a lot wetter now so I think I will attempt Mt Bogong tomorrow as a day trip. On the plus side, Thursday and Friday now look ideal for an overnight trip up Mt Feathertop. Dropping Rory at the sitters in a few minutes then the journey begins, westward through the Brindabellas to Tumut for lunch.
