Changeling roles yapping:

• Drones: Basically cheap workforce, lowest of the low but still important. Jack of all trades, master of none. The standard changeling.
• Scouts: More lean build, not very trained with magic, but more focused on information gathering and getting light stuff from here to there.
• Guards: Armored, more prepared, usually carry a weapon and are trained in offensive and defensive magic. They serve to protect the hive mainly, but also go on more serious missions. A slightly stronger build than the normal drone.
• Nymphs: Baits ponies to be extracted of their love and feelings. They tend to have more delicate or glowing features, excellent at disguising and acting like somepony. Almost defenseless when caught.
• Goliaths: Bulky changelings, well-fed, only appear when the hive is prosperous or at an emergency. Usually set for heavy duty or hive defense. As their name can suggest, they pack a punch but are slow and cannot fly. Hard chitin.
• Royalty: Leader of the hive, Queens and Kings, usually only one royalty per hive due to fights for power and control. Builds are adapted to what their focus is, these changes extend to their changelings and their appearance. They control the hive, and the hive is unstable without one.
