#Mithraea are the easily identified sanctuaries in
#RomanBritain. It is not strictly an Eastern religion, but an artificially created sect using and fusing themes from different religions. So how did it fit with the traditional Iron Age religions? It is striking that Mithras doesn't have Celtic language titles, unlike a lot of traditional Roman deities.
