Sleeping Beauty / La Bella Addormentata 👑 for #caturday

Once upon a time, deep in the magical, mystical forest of Bologna (our neighbour's back yard), lived a beautiful, sleepy, furry princess (Frida). The princess was waiting for her one true love - any unsuspecting idiot that was lured in by her purring or her toe beans. However, on seeing interested participants the curse awakened and she became a beast! (She loves play fighting 😂) Legend has it though, that if you have the infamous feather toy to distract her the beast in her subsides and she becomes a princess once more. ✨

In Bologna we are very fortunate to have a few cat shelters/charities that help out our little fuzzy friends. 🐱 This little sleeping beauty is Birba. She was hit by a car and had to have an operation. Thanks to Tuteli Animali Bologna 1891 she was able to get all the care she needed! This photo was taken a few weeks ago while she was resting and recovering - now thankfully she is all better and is ready to live up to her name! Birba, (in this case), means rascal/rogue/scamp! ✨
