Today is world metrology day. At the 20th May 1875 the meter convention was signed by 17 states, so exactly 150 years ago.
For people that that after 150 years still think using imperial units is a nice idea, just search the internet for Mendenhall Order. So, using imperial units means using the metric system with very odd conversion factors
