Wer macht die Materialwende? 🏘️ 🚧 ♻️

Eine Wende hin zur Kreislaufwirtschaft ist mit einer langfristigen Umstellung aller Abläufe im Bauwesen verbunden. Entscheidungen, die den Ressourcenverbrauch und die Klimawirkung des Bauens minimieren, könnten dagegen sofort getroffen werden – insbesondere wenn es darum geht, den Gebäudebestand möglichst lange in Nutzung zu halten oder Leerstand zu revitalisieren.

Unsere Autor:innen Johannes Warda, Georg Schiller, Barbara Ditze und Robert Knippschild sind überzeugt: Die praktische Expertise dafür findet sich in der Denkmalpflege.
Bislang als Nischenbereich auf einen exklusiven Bestand beschränkt, können denkmalpflegerische Prinzipien als Bestandteil zirkulären Bauens für alle Bauaufgabenfruchtbar gemacht werden.
