I strangely like condoms. I like how they behave when filled and the idea of sealing the seed in bags. They are very stretchy an transparent and make when loaded the shaft appear bigger.
I didn't draw much of them, but I'm going to fix that

Here's another one of those method breakdowns, made more for myself, but still useful for you as well. I've been focusing so much on learning to paint color, value and shading that I've been forgetting how to add expression to my subjects, which I was much better at when still doing lineart only. So I'm experimenting with that again. I drew after reference, but greatly exagerated the rythm lines of the tree.

Hey everyone,
I made this more for myself, but then realized it would be quite nice to share as a #MastoArtStudy. It's a breakdown of a #DigitalPainting work-method. The idea is working with silhouettes and shapes first, which you select and paint over afterwards. This method works quite well for making #ConceptArt. This example here was not an original concept though, but traced from reference. The goal here was just to exercise both the technique and painting metal.
Nr 2: I was chatting with @Enora for a few weeks back and they shared an article with me they published on artstation for some years back on how to use cinematography to study lighting, color and composition. Check it out here: https://www.artstation.com/blogs/efflam/ANGz/how-i-discovered-my-love-for-cinematography
It has lots of nice examples from beautiful movies and strong tips for improving your composition!
Nr1: I'd like to recommend Ian Roberts youtube channel Mastering Composition (https://www.youtube.com/@IanRobertsMasteringComposition).
He is a very kindhearted man with many video's that have been very helpful for me. He is taking a break, but he will be sharing a playlist of his former video's dealing with a specific theme each via email each month thus making a structured curriculum. It's completely free and I highly recommend it! You can sign up here: https://masteringcomposition.com/free-bonus/
Hey MastoArtStudents, its been a while since you've heard of me and I want to share a little exercise with you for #MastoArtStudy that you can do in your own time.
Find a picture of a landscape you're interested in and set a timer on 15 minutes. Paint the same picture four times (15 min for each). Reflect each time what you want to improve upon and try out new stuff! Post it using #MastoArtStudyNumber9 and mention me in the post, if you like some feedback.
