When I was in college, I would've jumped through flaming hoops backwards to have seen my EKU Colonels play in the NCAA Tournament. I just texted my daughter, a sophomore at Longwood, to ask her if she was going to a watch party tonight to cheer on the Lancers as they try to upset Houston. She replied that she wasn't going anywhere because--get this--she'd just washed her hair!

She may go on to do great things in her life, but I'll always wonder where I went wrong as a parent. #MarchSadness
