I will write a longer review on my thoughts on Bad Girl Vol 1 later, but it’s basically a girl named Yuutani Yuu pretending to be a deliquent to get the attention of the Morals Committee, Mizutori Atori. The funny thing is that Yuu gets flustered by Atori. It’s obvious that Yuu have a crush on Atori, her senpai.
It’s not just Yuu wanting her senpai to notice her, there is obviously yuri here,
Believe it or not, I’m reading Bad Girl, which is a Manga Time Kirara title that recently had an anime annouced. It’s about a girl named Yutani Yuu who tries to act like a deliquent and dress as one to get the attention of the disciplinary committee chairman, Mizutori Atori, and Atori became close with Yuu because she is cute.
In the third chapter, Atori actually buys a collar and dog ears since she wants Yuu to wear them. In the forth chapter, she acts like a dog to get the attention of Atori.
So, is it yuri? Time will tell, but it’s heading in that direction.
On. and Atori here with animal ears shows a visible fang, so I guess it counts.

This story focuses on Sakurai Anjyu who is a former underground idol from an idol group called Aisu Beverage or short, “Aibiba." Her other members are Kuretani Tomoko and Mizusawa Jiu. Tomoko is a gyaru college student, who eventually dyes her hair looking for a job. Jiu does her own thing with Sushi.
However, Anjyuu, who eventually works at a dog and cat girl cafe isn’t giving up her idol dream. She eventually gets into contact with a 12 year old Vocaloid producer who refer herself to Black Camellia P (her actual name: Tsubaki). after listening to her song that gained popularity. Anjyu manages to meet her during work She eventually decides to help after watching Anjyuu’s former idol group performance. With that, She and Tsubaki work to convince Tomoko and Jiu to come back and stage a comeback, with a new producer and a another debut.
As expected, the characters are interesting. Sure, Tomoko seems very reluctant to do the idol thing, but she eventually goes to the performance to perform with Anjyu and Jiu. Sure, it took a some convincing for Jiu, but she eventually gives it another try when Anyu almost lost hope. Tomoko didn't want to do it, until she recalled the memories, she decides to give it another try.
Sure, we see the inner workings of idols, as in handshakes and Chekis Tsubaki takes them. In Anju writing on Yupipi (who Anju is her Oishi) Cheki writing “Idol Be Back!" on it, and Yupipi seems to like that name, thus Anju and her members adopted the new name (also the title of the Manga). The abbreviation of the idol group’s name kind of makes it obvious.
The question is, can Anju and her friends make it big from an Underground Idol world to the bigger idol world and perform in a big arena. I guess we'll find out eventually. Also, it's interesting that it takes place in the same world as Comic Girls (yes, there is a cameo of Moeta Kaoruko being a patron at the Maid cafe Anju works at).
Despite being serialized in the Manga Time Kirara Max, while it's a Yonkoma, it uses wider panels and does kind of feel a little more like a Manga Time Kirara Forward title since a bit more story driven..I guess it's serialized in Max since Comic Girls was serialized in the same magazine.
I do wonder, is most Underground Idol groups thing only lasting an average of two years before disbanding is actually a thing or not.
Finished the first volume of Oshi Goto Biyori (推しごとびより, lit. From The Recommendation), and it’s basically a Manga Time Kirara CGDCT manga about 4 otaku high school girls (Komachi, Sora, Yuzuha, and Ayame including a childhood friend of Komari, Naru, who isn’t really an Otaku (idol, anime/seiyuu, mangaka, and video game respectively), but of course her Oshi is of course her childhood friend Komachi. They eventually form an idol group called Colorfullium (カラフルリウム).
Each has their own Oshi, which is a term used by idol otakus to refer to their favorite idol member. We know that Komari is a hard core wota and her favorite idol, Momoka and seeing an idol group caused her to have a dream of becoming an idol someday with her childhood friend, Naru.
The manga itself is relatable since it has all the Gacha game and things that I can relate to as an anime fan that also follow Seiyuus with Sora, who obsesses over a Seiyuu, Hanechan, talks about watching late night anime, and also buying multiple copies of CDs for a hand shake event and Seiyuu magazines. Yes, she even attends a birthday event for her favorite Seiyuu. Also, Ayame plays a gacha games and even there are references to gacha pulls that some people that play Gacha games can relate to.
While there is some yuri as to be expected, mostly from Komachi and Naru, it’s actuItally becomes an inspiration for Yuzuha to make a yuri manga based on that pairing with Ayame helping her. Of course, there are a few nice moments between the two.
It’s a nice and relatable read, although the manga itself is only two volumes long.
I'm reading a new Kirara Manga, Oshi Goto Biyori. It's a CGDCT where a Wota, Momohara Komachi decide to form an idol group with an anime, doujinshi, and video game otaku girls.
I think I can relate to Sora (the blue haired girl as she seems to be Sora, who not only buy anime CDs and merch, but get excited over her favorite Seiyuu being on the front of the magazine and not having much money for the month.
(Pretty much the same, minus the financial aspects)
Besides the idol stuff from Komachi, there is also a mention of 2D idol gacha games as well and the frustrations of not getting the favorite in a pull. This manga has everything a fan of anime would understand.
Apparently, the 6th volume of the Kirara Fantasia, that Manga Time Kirara gacha game that shut down earlier this year having it's sixth manga volume coming out on the first of December.
I wonder if they will adapt the 2nd arc of the main story. We'll have to wait and see…

Tsumugu Otome to Taishou no Tsuki – Vol 1 Review
When an article about a certain Manga Time Kirara manga, "Tsumugu Otome to Taishou no Tsuki" (紡ぐ乙女と大正の月) or officially in English, "A Drift Girl and A Noble Moon" chapter is delayed due to some issues, I looked into what the manga was about. Of course, I discovered this is a yuri science fiction manga. Well, time traveling as a girl gets mysteriously transported back to Taishou Era Japan.
