As my inaugural post, I'm trying to make a break from the doom-scrolling, addicting flow of useless memes, atrocious articles, and useless info.

I'm trying to find that same style of use that I felt before, when everything wasn't so centralized and corporate-ized.

defcon.social felt like a proper home to fit my interests, and the areas where I'm trying to find some connection again.
