MARK GODDARD, 87

Mark Goddard, who played Major Don West in the television series, "Lost in Space," has died.

How "Lost in Space" became a show of reference is beyond me; but it has. The Robot - Robot Model 9 - was the most endearing character.

Mark Goddard had appearances in a lot of hit TV series and movies including eleven episodes of "General Hospital" and an uncredited spot in the film, "Play It Again, Sam."
