His work has meant a great deal to me over the last two decades, and although I never had the privilege of meeting him, I felt I knew a little of himβas we often think we doβthrough his quietly questioning music, ideas and influence. Maybe itβs hyperbole but I feel like weβve lost a major figure in late 20th and early 21st century sound art. Condolences to his family and friends.
