GoldGatoInteresting sight this morning. I was swimming at the community pool around 5:20 AM, when I saw a very bright light fall from the sky, like a quiet dead weight, straight down. It was westward but still looked near. I figured Palm Springs was hit. Normally, I see shooting stars when I'm swimming, but they swish across the sky at great speed, rather than fall straight down.
Have no idea what it was. A dead satellite? A curious drone? The alien ship for Spielberg's new movie? If people start showing up with vacant faces from the desert, then it'll be the latter.
