#BirdoftheDay has an alternate theme of #LongNecks, and this is also in my backyard, in the broader sense of the phrase. The shorter of the long necked herons - not often seen extended, but a Green Heron does have a long neck when needed. #Birds 🪶 #EastCoastKin #Nature #Wildlife #BirdsofBlueSky
