so I'm at the point where I've written all the story beats, meaning any additional words I write will be adding details to older scenes, or writing bonus scenes.

Meaning that even if I don't end up hitting 50k, I still have something serviceable going forward.

That's not so say I'm not intending to hit 50k, but I'm but I do feel a bit less pressure towards it.

Well, I wrote 97 words today, just to make sure I didn't lose my streak. I'll catch up at work tomorrow...

...And I'm at the point where the manuscript is at 40% complete, and my two character's arcs are closer to 65-70% complete. (which happens to me every year, honestly.)
