In case anyone wonders: I will not attend the #linuxplumbersconf or the #Linux #kernel maintainer summit in person next week, as after a long internal debate I decided against making the trip over the ocean. 😞

But I will be around virtually at the LPC and will be Co-host in a BOF about "Reporting and tracking regressions across the ecosystem" on Wednesday:

Linux Plumbers Conference 2023

The Linux Plumbers Conference (LPC) is a developer conference for the open source community. The LPC brings together the top developers working on the plumbing of Linux - kernel subsystems, core libraries, windowing systems, etc. - and gives them three days to work together on core design problems. The conference is divided into several working sessions focusing on different plumbing topics, as well as a general paper track.

/me more and more feels torn apart between "you should go to this years #linuxplumbersconf to promote your #Linux #kernel regression tracking work and discuss things with others" and "I don't want to enter planes any more (especially not those flying long distance), as it's bad for the climate" 🥴

People have already submitted to our Refereed Track, Kernel Track, and Microconference Track. That's pretty neat. So make sure that you submit your proposal soon! 😊

I'm very excited to be back in person at one of my favorite conferences! 🐧☘️ #linuxplumbers #linuxplumbers2022 #linuxplumbersconf
