HUGE TAE courier delivery today, like 2 buckets worth of purple bags, 25 bags total....again mostly returning items but enough new incoming material to keep me busy most of the rest of the morning until lunchtime. #librarywork #librarylife

Circulation handed me a book from New Orleans Public Library, which being in Louisiana, means they're not a TAE courier user. Since Library Admin doesn't want us spending extra on postage, I now have to actively seek out borrowing a legit ILL book from them in fulfillment of a patron request so I can piggyback this orphan book with it on the return leg. #Librarywork #TricksOfTheTrade
Did a lot of cleaning out of file cabinets this morning, tossing shit dating back to 2011, 2013, etc, for a few systems ago that are no longer in use. Jeezus, you get focused on the here and now and just forget all this old shit is still sitting in your file cabinet collecting dust. Felt good to trash it all. #Librarywork
