OUT 24 NOVEMBER 2022 - Pre-order now:

Hahhahaa The Red Scholar's Wake is on the sapphiclitbot account on the bird site. My little book has arrived!

Alt text: a post from user @sapphiclitbot that says "As the bots slid downwards, further than Xích Si’s arms could reach, Rice Fish shivered — and laid her hand on Xích Si’s lips, gently pressing with the delicacy of a kiss.

Aliette de Bodard, The Red Scholar's Wake"

Financial Times

It's midnight and I just finished reading "The Red Scholar's Wake" by @aliettedb and can't recommend it enough! Spent the past few hours immersed in it because I just had to see it all the way through. So many feelings!

I'm gonna miss all these characters, damn it! But at least I can already pick up other books set in the same universe.
