It was super interesting to work on this cover for the group of Paola Vivo at Tampere University! This perspective highlights the role of wide bandgap #leadfree #perovskite-inspired materials in #IndoorPhotovoltaics. Research on Pb-free wide bandgap perovskite for indoor PV is still at early stages, but it has great potential to become an efficient and sustainable alternative to power IoT devices that we use in our daily life.

Lead-free perovskite-inspired semiconductors for indoor light-harvesting – the present and the future

Are lead-free perovskite-inspired materials (PIMs) the wise choice for efficient yet sustainable indoor light harvesting? This feature article outlines how wide-bandgap PIMs can provide a positive answer to this compelling question. The wide band gaps can hinder sunlight absorption, in turn limiting the sola
