Apparently it has been eleven years since I took this photo at one of my favourite places Kielder, more specifically next to the Kielder Stane.
The Kielder Stane (Kielder Stone for those south of the border) sits on the boundary between Scotland and England.
My two boys Hugo (sitting) and Toby (lying down) loved our adventures in the forest and fells beyond.
They are both sadly long gone and the years since haven't been kind but memories remain.
