Kayaköy/Lebessos is a stunning but tragic deserted village in Fethiye, Turkey. It was mostly abandoned during the massacre of Greeks by the Ottoman Empire during the1st World War and the treaty ending the Greco/Turkish wars banned Greeks from returning. It remains, a monument to the horrors of ethnic cleansing & genocide. This is one of the two the Orthodix Churches left.
