#BBCScotland "Another sport to add to the mix". Chuffed at the #Kabbadi coverage. Shame they completely ignored a World Championship of another sport. One taking place literally on their doorstep in Holyrood.

Has anyone else fallen for Kabaddi since the Pro Kabaddi League has been aired on ESPN+ or just me? #Kabbadi #PKL

@ceemage @devxvda #Kabbadi is interesting. Running away is certainly an element of the game, but it's there's more physical contact in it than in most tag sports. I'd say that #WorldChaseTag takes the lead as the exemplar of a "running away" sport, though Kabaddi is probably not far behind.

(There are a number of tag sports, though only two, Kabaddi and World Chase Tag, have been formalised. Kabaddi is a codification of a schoolyard game; World Chase Tag is an ab initio creation.)

@TRiG @devxvda Also, isn't the Indian sport #Kabbadi basically "a martial art[...] of running away"?
