The Just Transition Mechanism is a key tool to ensure that Member Statesโ transition towards a climate-neutral economy happens in a fair and inclusive way, leaving no one behind. Through the Structural Reform Support Programme, the Commission helped 18 Member States, including Slovakia, in preparing their territorial Just Transition Plans to support the economic diversification and reconversion of the coal and carbon intensive regions.
