I'm a bit surprised to say that, after many years of being at best neutral about them, I've recently become an #apple fanboy 😊

I used to find them a bit distasteful, but after some effort and experimentation, I'm really happy with where I landed. And I have to say, compared to the alternatives, their availability and convenience makes a big difference.

My favorite cultivar is #jonagold, but that's probably because it's easy to find where I live. I'm sure many of you are apple fans as well, let me know your cultivar recs!

Unfortunately apples are relatively expensive atm due to temporarily increased taxes on imported produce to protect the national market. If only those Norwegian apples were actually quite a bit cheaper as a result, that would've been great, but alas.

Sometimes I miss a good #Elstar, #Jonagold or especially for applepies, the #Goudreinette...
