dschenseNach langem #Gefrickel läuft #jitsi nun auch mit #jibri in einem #lxc #container. Nach anfänglicher Downtime von download.jitsi.org und der Erkenntnis, dass der Container privileged sein muss um auf das sdn-loop device zugreifen zu können geht es jetzt aber. Auch das Post-Script zum verschieben und löschen der Aufnahme via #rclone läuft prima ;-)
#jitsi das ist jetzt echt doof.. wollte eben #jibri für ein#conference #recording integrieren.. aber solange der #download nicht erreichbar ist wird das wohl nichts. Kennt jemand eigentlich eine andere/bessere #Alternative zum record/download eine conference außer jibri? #followerpower

Yet another jibri config question
Hey folks, I installed Jitsi a couple of days ago on my server and I love it! Now I tried to get Jibri up and running on a second server. I followed the git instruction for jibri and the official Youtube tutorial video. Now I’m kind of stuck. Every time I try to start a recording, I get the “Start recording” overlay and the “recording is prepared” overlay, but then, 30 secs later I get a “recording has stopped” voice message.The message in the jibri log is SEVERE: [188] org.jitsi.jibri.seleni...
#Jitsi #Meet für Videokonferenzen ist ein super #OpenSource Projekt. Und es ist auch für Leute wie mich zu installieren.
Dagegen ist die Integration der Zusatzkomponenten für Jitsi riesengroßer Mist und ein Beispiel dafür, wie Open-Source-Projekte nicht sein sollten. Allen voran #Jibri, mit dem man Videochats aufnehmen & streamen kann. Hab 2 Nachmittage damit zugebracht und es läuft nicht. Obwohl ich exakt dem offiziellen YouTube-Tutorial sowie den offiziellen Anweisungen auf Git gefolgt bin.
