Heard it might have been a statue of Qasem Soleimani that was fire bombed. The ruling fraction of the regime worship him. Not an islamic attitude at all.

BTW, the shooting of Flight 752 departing from Tehran few days later (8 Jan 20) is thought to have been a vile reaction by the ruling fraction for alleged cooperation of a more reformist fraction in the elimination of Qasem Soleimani (3 Jan 20). A power statement of a kind.

Yes, heard today about a Kurd who had travelled to the Balouchistan region where he joined (or to join) the protest. The people where exalted and carried the man around up above the crowd chanting the unity between Kurds and Balouchis. Next dilatations in both directions?
