The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the killing of two police officers by suspected gunmen along Okigwe road in Owerri..

The Imo Police Public Relation Officer, Henry Okoye, who confirmed the unfortunate incident, said the officers were attacked by surprise in the early hours of Saturday while on patrol duty along old Gariki road Okigwe by  gunmen who engaged them in a gunfight. #imopolice
