On the night train back to Germany and then the Netherlands from the #ic2s2 in Norrköpping. I really enjoyed the conference. Lots of new ideas for research, learned new things. They had some nice keynotes. Especially the one on design-based supervised learning by Brandon Steward and the one by Duncan Watts on integrative modelling.

Seeing talk titles at #ic2s2 I can't be the only one, when reading LLM or AI, having to react with "oh, yet another one 🙄"? No disrespect to colleague's work, but the topic feels overhyped.. Not *everything* needs an LLM angle. #grinchmoment
