The emoji keyboard π recent section wonβt update with anything but stickers (that I donβt typically use).
Iβve even tried to disable stickers and reset the keyboard dictionary many times.
In my experience iOS 18 has been one of the worst Apple has shipped in a long timeβ¦ At least they fixed IMAP in Mail after breaking it with 18.1 π
