Recent months with a new puppy have seen me going outside and wandering about for like 10 or 15 minutes in the freezing cold of Winter (#iHateWinter) in the hope that puppy will poop outside and not on the floor.

The upside is that it gets me looking at the sea of stars overhead and regaining something of my sense of wonder at the universe. The Milky Way is just fucking amazing.

Me: Born in Barbados but spent most of my life in the northeast of the US. Like my tiny 13 year old legs walked through blizzards to find out school was canceled. Will forever be salty about that 😒

Also, me: Moved to California for two years to escape winter and came back to the east coast last April
