I'm trying to work out the banjo tab for "The Eighth of January" and I just discovered that Jimmy Driftwood LIED TO ME!!!! According to Jimmy, " down around eighteen fourteen we took a little trip, along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip'" when in fact this "little trip" occurred in 1815!!!
My life has been a lie Jimmy!!!
