The rectangles for the Euler diagram are just done using a html table, where each coloured line is actually a colour-filled cell.
Using html tables was a convenient way to handle re-sizing without worrying about cross-browser compatibility.
I need to make it more intuitive, more user-friendly and make it look better.
But I don't have the skills or the time.
Are there any CSS / designer folk who might be interested in spending an hour working on it?
