I have done essentially nothing today except watch Gravity Falls all day. I did take a minor break to watch the latest episode of The Pitt and hopped on the #holocall for an hour or two, but I haven't left the house and have watched cartoons all dang day. I haven't done shit.

It stopped raining this morning but it stayed cold, and now it has just started raining again and is projected to do so for the next several hours overnight. So I'm betting that tomorrow's gonna be icy as well like today was supposed to be.  

Good thing I stocked up on Ramen bowls! Looks like I'll be able to finish Gravity Falls before it leaves Hulu after all.

I'm giving the Zen browser a shot again after a #holocall conversation now that Frefox is going all in on "AI" asshattery. I'm using Librewolf as my daily driver, but I figured that I'd give Zen a try.

I was in the beta for Arc browser but I don't really want a Chromium-based engine and I ended up dropping out because the design choices regarding workflow and panes didn't really work for me in my context. Zen seems to be a FOSS Arc-like skin for Gecko, so I figured I'd give it another shot and see if I could get into it.

This was prompted mainly by the Discord app on Linux getting into that stupid state where it just hangs on the "Starting..." screen forever and I don't want to go through the rigamarole of uninstalling and reinstalling the damn thing. Zen basically allows me to hide all the various toolbars and whatnot, so I can just have the Discord webapp running and it looks essentially like the desktop app. We'll see how long this lasts.

But for now, this machine is a multi-browser house divided all because we, as a society, can't seem to keep from enshittifying everything that was once good and usefull in the name of the almighty monetary unit.

Getting creeped out by watching @revengeday play Backrooms on the #holocall. This game is going to give me nightmares, I think.

On the upside, now that I have a few hours of "me time" today, maybe I can finally get back to diggin' in and learning about that Meshtastic setup that I got a couple of weeks ago and haven't had the time (or the energy) to play with due to work funk.
