Progress on my HO scale 2-in-1 model railway layout. I've now finished the river and building a raised area to hide the control panel wiring, and have started on building a low relief building at the end of one of the team tracks, and adding a fascia along the front of the layout.

Here’s a side by side comparison of a Pocket #Tomica car (P049 vol.20 Toyota 86) vs a regular Tomica (No. 28 Subaru BRZ).

The #PocketTomica are typically prizes found in arcade claw machines or in gachapon machines. This particular P049 was won for ¥100 from a #clawmachine in the Tomica Shop at #TokyoStation (this retail outlet claw machine is generally more favourable chance in comparison to arcades).

Although this BRZ is a slightly later model, it can help in approximating the scale of the Pocket Toyota 86. The BRZ is labelled as “1/60” and is 71.30mm length; the 86 is 50mm length. The pocket Tomica scale would then be very near 1/87 or #HOscale
