First thoughts on Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance:

• Oh hey, it's Juste. I thought the character was invented for the recent TV show. I could have sworn that I looked him up in the wiki, but apparently I didn't. Neat. 🙂
• Moving around is so much more fun from the get-go. Juste is so much more agile than Nathan in Circle of the Moon.
• What's that weird outline dragging behind Juste? Is he moving at superspeed? Will this be here for the whole game? It's kinda annoying. 😅
• Ooooh money! I think I'll be able to buy potions again! 🤩
• Progression seems pretty quick so far.
• Oh. The magic system is interesting. Books of magic can be equipped to turn your subweapons into spells. When they're equipped, spells/subweapons consume mana instead of hearts. Switching them on and off is an annoying menu tax though, but the GBA only had so many buttons.
• "Quick save"? Is that what I think it is??? (It is! When you die, you can load from the last save room, but keep the progress up to the "quick save".)
• Was the quick save somehow a tradeoff for a continue screen? Why do I have to click through 5 screens and videos for 15 seconds after every death? Feels a bit like two steps forward, one step back. 😩

Ich habe gerade #castlevania #harmonyofdissonance mit dem True Ending beendet und somit Dracula's Rückkehr verhindert 😎👍

Für die Platin Trophäe fehlt nur noch der "Maxim Mode", wo man Juste Belmont's Freund Maxim spielt. Aber diesen mache ich ein anderes Mal.

Ich hoffe es, denn ich hasse es Dinge unfertig liegen zu haben 😅

Heute werde ich #harmonyofdissonance beenden und für die letzte Trophäe den "Maxim Mode" freischalten. Dieser ist wie in #ariaofsorrow der "Julius Mode". Man spielt das Spiel aus Sicht eines anderen Charakter, in diesem Fall Juste Belmont's Freund Maxim.

Ich bin gespannt, wie dieser Modus so ist, denn #harmonyofdissonance ist stellenweise recht unverzeilich was spielerische Fehler angeht :D

Meine Pläne fürs Wochenende: #harmonyofdissonance weiterspielen, erneut #monsterhunterworld spielen, da ich auf den neuen Teil gehypt bin & meine Freundin spielt ein neues Spiel der "Life is Strange" Entwickler, nämlich #tellmewhy

#tellmewhy ist ein eigenständiges Spiel & hat nix mit der Welt von LiS zu tun aber scheint ein Projekt zu sein um zu schauen, wie die Community es aufnimmt, da man einen Transmann & seine Schwester spielt. Evtl. haben sie Pläne für nach #lifeisstrangedoubleexposure

Wenn ich später den Julius Mode in #ariaofsorrow beendet und damit das Spiel platiniert habe, werde ich aus der #CastlevaniaAdvanceCollection mit #harmonyofdissonance weiter machen.

Ob der Julius Mode ein gutes Training war wird sich zeigen. Hier spielt man im Jahre 1748, den Vampirjäger: Juste Belmont, wo ein ähnliches repartuar an Waffen & Hilfsmitteln hat, wie sein Nachfahren Julius Belmont 😎👍
