Thomas AdamThe UK has just had another mass-public testing of its "severe alerting" mechanism, which makes most phones vibrate and make a sound even if the phone is on silent.
Last time this was done (2023) it didn't go very well (no Government project the UK undertaken *ever* works, it's always a f**king disaster). This time though, it seemed to go well.
