So I have a #googlepixel7pro and a #googlepixelwatch2 for that synergy that having devices from the same manufacturer brings, and let me tell you... I'm not seeing it!

Sure, swiping away notifications on the watch also dismisses them on the phone, which is nice, but...

I had to factory reset my phone to even activate my watch. Bad start.

My phone automatically goes into dnd at night. The watch follows. In the morning they're supposed to go back, but the combination of the other device being in dnd keeps them there.

And Bluetooth...

My earbuds are either connected to one or the other. The watch will steal the connection from the phone. If I only have the watch there is no magic to connect the buds, but instead a deep menu path. If the buds are connected to the watch, my phone rings and I take it on the watch I'm now speaking on... The watch. Not the buds. Confusion is total!

#google is clearly not invested in making a cool extension of the phone, but just another device. Not cool.
