Yipp, disappointment from not going at least 290 km/h on the high speed tracks between KK and FFLF is real. But not as bad as it could be. Was still quite nice.
And today's speciality seems to be consistency:
Continuing onwards on another BR412. On the same platform, just crossing a few metres from ICE 101. Getting into carriage 2 again, and taking seat 138 … again. Also going the same direction from the station and the train not being too crowded :3

Interestingly, we are leaving before the train that brought me here. So i got to see me previous carriage and seat passing by and could wave goodbye at the train 
(Which makes this a rather tight connection. But as long as it works, i'm happy not having to wait for long.)

It doesn't start too bad: this train is kinda "on time"-ish. We'll see how that works out with tight connections in Cologne and Hannover.

the personnel in ICE 622 told everyone with Brussels as their destination to stay in Frankfurt, because a transfer wouldn't be possible.
but now i'm on it — for a single station, roughly an half hour ride. yet nonetheless: i made it! the lobely ICE international, BR408!

Yes, it is a place on the floor. But it is a place on the floor in one of my favourite train models.
And there would've been plenty seats available … just nothing where i wouldn't have someone next to me. (and for half an hour or so … too low on spoons to bother)
now i'll have taken all of the trains on my planned journey. just with the last transfer in KK instead of FF. (and one little stop of S-Bahn mixed in … but let's ignore that :3)
And still got to go ~300 km/h on the high-speed line — just with ICE 3 instead of ICE 10. 
time to leave bavaria … in the quiet zone of ICE 622 (BR407).

using more general words: taking an ICE3 neo to Frankfurt Central, which can reach 300 km/h between Cologne and Frankfurt … and makes very satisfying electric noises while accelerating 
Tickets just got checked and i asked for getting mine stamped … now this is a very happy kittyfox with some blue marks on their ticket :3
Once again, shared time had to come to an end. Once again, i have to head back home.
Staying any longer would, sadly, neither be sensible nor practical

The boarding info for this train was a bit of a mess. Announcements and online info showed platform section data diverging from the original schedule. The displays on the platform happily ignored that — so did the train.
But had no trouble getting on and found a comfy place

I was quite worries about the departure time, so decided to run. Hands are still trembling and my face is covered in sweat — after wiping it down already.
Not a minute of pain was wasted, though: got into the train 5 seconds before the doors closed and locked ^^"
Oh, and: the connection i'm taking now couldn't be booked anymore, because apparently it is too crowded already — the train i'm sitting in right now in particular. But i have to say … it is not that bad. Already have been in way more crowded ICEs which were listed as "medium".
Only sitting in this train right now, thanks to the magic of "buying a flex ticket for the next (similar) connection, about 30 minutes before your train departs.

Now onwards to FF. Making the transfer there might be a challenge, but might be doable within the estimated 7 minutes, as I should be in the part closer to the pathways on both trains ^^
Also: managed to obtain and (just in time) nom a pretzel with hummus and some veggies — Nuremberg station does have decent options for vegan food
