#SnowedIn #GalantinesDay
The day before a #galantinesday celebration is always stressful.
My wife & I have thrown many soirees together over the decades.
But when she does a BookClub/Galantines Day/etc. - well - I know Iβm not invited, so I just lean back and watch her prep.
Which, frankly, is always impressive.
I expect her guests theory of how much effort went into a given party is off by an order of magnitude.
I profit by how clean the house is.
Thatβs why Iβm having my old boss over for dinner Monday.
The day before #galantinesday is a busy one here in OAK.
I will be helping with final cleaning, and then making my male body scarce as the ladies come here.
My wife is a terrifying good party giver - I kid her that although her friends are always thankful for her amazing parties, if they knew just how much effort she puts in (like, an order or magnitude more than they think) they would be... shaken.
Anyway, I get the advantage of an immaculate house. That's why I'm entertaining Monday night.
