One more Infrared pic from today with the IS-1 - this one i tried to make look as much like Kodak Aerochrome film as I could, by using channel swaps followed by a slight hue shift to make the trees a bit more red.

I think the trick with these is to try to get the clouds looking a natural white, which does take a bit of work with white balance, levels and curves to try to not blow out the highlights (not entirely successfully here).

I am not at all a church person but it seems churches with trees make great IR subjects!

More experimenting with the IR camera (Fujifilm Finepix IS-1).

I had a slightly better idea what to do this time, so used RAW format and set a rough white balance before starting out (which still needed adjusting, but gives a better idea in the on-camera preview). Still using the 590nm filter for now, I don't have a yellow filter that fits this camera, so I'm losing a bit of green colour perhaps.

Sadly the Fuji RAW format is a little awkward to deal with as my Mac doesn't seem to want to show previews - so I'm having to load each file individually into Affinity just to see what it is. Oh well.

There's two colour variants here, produced by swapping the colour channels differently - I figured out how to do pink trees! But I think I prefer the slightly more natural blue sky in the other one, similar to the first pic I posted.
