Ich muss nur mal kurz einen verbreiteten Mythos zur Tankanzeige ausräumen:

#EASA CS 23.1337: "[...] There must be means to indicate to the flight-crew members the quantity of usable fuel in each tank during flight. An indicator calibrated in appropriate units and clearly marked to indicate those units, must be used."

Die "Null heißt leer"-Anforderung gibt's auch, aber die Bedeutung ist vor allem, dass nur ausfliegbarer Kraftstoff angezeigt werden darf. ("must [...] read 'zero' [...] when the quantity of fuel [...] is equal to the unusable fuel supply").
