I haven't posted much lately because I am about to run out of tokens and I'm racing to get the next batch of all-unique cards to the printer-- I like the number & suits because it fits into #foxwork being self-working, e.g. I can say "Look, you got the 3 of cones!"

Lately I make a point to point out olfactory impressions which are more common in human areas (though it's impolite to tell people you can smell the tomato sauce on their pasta 40 feet away) -- these are much less common in the woods but this area in Shindagin Hollow has a definite scent of pine

I think you wouldn't believe me if I said this fox took my camera and took this picture and then run off to the woods but you might believe that it drove my car back to my den and also that my backpack functions as a "tail" that counterweights the camera and helps me stay foxy
